I was thinking over the weird fact, that, how conveniently each one of us have forgotten to love each other. Just take a sneak peek into your own surroundings. Everyone wakes up in the morning to swiftly move into different zones. These zones are physical on the outward and it has boundaries too. Everyone knows that a certain number of activities must be completed in a day and we try to mechanize the whole structure and, in the process, allow our emotional self to starve and get exhausted. Interestingly, no thought is given to find out the reason behind this exhaustion.
I write this as I realise how much, we human beings have forgotten to live for each other. If one really cares for another, it must be made known, through words and gestures. Am I not simply saying that you need to love each other? The world is a big bubble of people and businesses, who neglect their basic internal needs. Ideas and thoughts are diverted towards creating leads, meeting targets, cutting cost, and making profits. Where do you think is the emphasis on love incorporated in the above-mentioned bubble?
Every communication smells business, in families too. “I promise to give you this, if you do that for me”. Now, THIS is material. THAT too is material. Material satisfies the immediate need. What about the aftermath of the deal? If any of my readers have gone through this in their lives, please try to recollect the moments after the deal. From childhood we talk management terminologies to our children so that they attain a goal and we adults reward them. Some choose to gift materials, whereas others, experiences. But truly, experience expression lasts.
What is clear is that materialistic deals do not leave a lasting mark and can be detrimental in the long run. All said and done, how about promising to love and care someone through thick and thin? At least a few may think if it is necessary. Can’t we just take people for sure? But because of our natural inclination to expect something in return, any denial would cause damage. Damage control is not easy especially, in the modern world for umpteen number of reasons.
In short, aftereffects of the damage are expensive and love is cheaper, in comparison. Wondering which master brain suggested this deduction, so that everything in this world sells at an inflated price! Choose love over everything else and watch how the world around each one of us would change.
